Job Summary
Based in Singapore, the successful candidate will be a team member of the Wealth/Retail regional business development team and responsible for leading the private wealth penetration strategy and grow our Wealth Business across the region.
The ideal candidate will have established and solid relationships with Private Wealth partners with proven track record of successful sales and business development in this region.
Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following functions:
Business development and sales coverage of Wealth business in Singapore.
Identifying new opportunities, deepening and improving client relationships and spotting cross-selling opportunities
Develop a thorough understanding of the firm’s investment strategies and competitive positioning across fixed income and credit, equities, multi-asset and alternatives
Collaborate effectively with internal and external clients to develop business relationships
Provide new product development ideas to internal stakeholders
Planning, management and execution of roadshows with portfolio managers
Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of other Asian language (such as Chinese) is advantageous but not necessary.
University Degree, preferably in Business Administration or Finance; CFA qualification preferred but not necessary
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience wealth sales and business development
Previous fund selection or investment advisory experience working in a Private Bank will be a plus
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Associate Director
Strong network and relationships with Private Wealth and proven track record in wealth sales and business development in the region
Familiarity with some or all of the following asset classes: equities, multi-asset, fixed income and credit, high yield, and/or alternatives
Positive attitude and a high level of professionalism
A positive, collegial attitude and a high level of professionalism
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and on individual projects
Excellent time-management, project management and organization skills to prioritize effectively and manage information flow in order to meet deadlines
Independent and is self-motivated, eager to learn, and interested in taking on new challenges to enhance coverage and build relationships with private wealth partners.
