About this role
The Global Product Group (GPG) is seeking a candidate for our Product Innovation team, with specific concentration on Transition Investing. A successful candidate will engage in our firmwide strategic product initiatives, with a focus on key cross-functional innovation initiatives supporting our Transition Investing platform across products and services. The individual will work closely with partner teams across the organization and across the globe to achieve commercial outcomes.

In this role, you will have an opportunity to shape and evolve our innovation and product strategy and support critical initiatives with many different teams across the organization. Additionally, this role will provide an opportunity to drive progress against our product priorities, with a focus on the Transition Investing platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include supporting the acceleration of key Transition Investing product or ecosystem initiatives from start to finish through the development of project plans, research, collaboration with subject matter experts and business operations, client engagement, and creation and execution of final deliverables (including launch of products and offerings). We are looking for someone to track progress against global and regional product priorities including mobilizing teams spanning product, investment, and client teams to drive commercial outcomes. This person will conduct industry research and assess competitor and client activity (in conjunction with strategy and client teams) to support the evaluation, prioritization, and development of new Transition Investing products and services in accordance with our strategic roadmap. A successful applicant will create presentations and memos to communicate plans, progress, and final findings and results.
Qualifications

Four-year college degree required.

2-4+ years driving product strategy or strategic project management in a complex environment, preferably in the financial or asset management industry, with an emphasis on the climate transition.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information, summarize issues and think creatively.

Ability to convey key messages with strong attention to detail and writing skills.

Consistent record of problem-solving, project management, and organization.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $109,250 – $130,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
