About this role

Job purpose:

This position is responsible for accelerating growth in BlackRock’s Wealth advisory business, by leading the tele-sales team and taking direct ownership of individual client sales activity.The focus is on generating opportunities, strengthening adviser relationships, and driving adoption of BlackRock’s products and technology using CRM tools.Focus market are German independent advisors at start.

The role also includes coaching the team, improving performance through clear KPIs, and embedding technology into daily sales activity.

Key responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and develop a team of tele-sales professionals, setting clear expectations and driving performance against KPIs.

  • Generate sales opportunities through phone-based prospecting and data-driven leads.

  • Build adviser relationships to grow sales and increase adoption of BlackRock products and technology.

  • Champion effective use of Portfolio 360, CRM, and digital tools.

  • Maintain strong product and market knowledge across the team.

  • Ensure disciplined pipeline management and reporting.

Skills & qualifications

  • Proficiency in English and German preferred

  • Experience in telephone sales or business development

  • Track record of exceeding sales KPIs in a fast-paced environment.

  • Leadership experience, including coaching or managing junior sales professionals.

  • Influencing and relationship-building skills with advisers.

  • Comfortable using CRM systems and adopting portfolio analytics and digital sales tools.

  • Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities.

Business unit overview

EMEA Wealth Advisory is responsible for selling BlackRock’s investment products, solutions, and technology to wealth managers across the region. The Scaled Distribution sales team focuses on independent financial advisers. They use a tech-enabled sales approach, including AI tools and Portfolio 360, to drive commercial growth and deliver high-quality client engagement.

Our hybrid work model
