The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and passionate Talent Acquisition Associate to support both experienced hire and early career recruiting initiatives. This individual will play a key role in driving full-cycle recruitment across the firm, while also helping to build and nurture relationships with universities to attract top student talent.

Responsibilities:
Lead full-cycle recruitment for our Client Sales teams across Private Wealth and Institutional Capital, with a strong emphasis on quality, efficiency, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Source and engage passive candidates through a variety of channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and talent communities.
Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and develop customized sourcing strategies that align with team goals.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the ongoing evolution of recruitment best practices.
Leverage recruitment metrics to guide strategic decisions and continuously enhance the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with career services, faculty, and student organizations at targeted universities to strengthen Blue Owl’s campus presence and brand recognition.
Partner with the marketing team to create engaging content, social media posts, and promotional materials that resonate with student audiences and support employer branding initiatives.
Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system, monitor event attendance, and compile data on campus recruiting activities to produce regular reports on outcomes, candidate pipelines, and areas for improvement.
Support the planning and execution of the summer internship program, including coordinating orientation, professional development sessions, and social events across Blue Owl’s global offices.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of recruitment experience, financial services experience a plus.
In-house recruitment experience is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success in direct sourcing and building talent pipelines.
Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
Entrepreneurial and growth mindset with a passion for solving problems and driving results.
Strong intellectual curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
While not required, experience or interest in campus recruiting, university partnerships, or internship program management is a plus.
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $100,000 to $130,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
