The Role:

Blue Owl is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Institutional Capital team in Hong Kong. This position combines institutional sales responsibilities with ongoing client service, with an emphasis on commercial engagement while maintaining a high standard of support for our global institutional investors.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English and both Mandarin and Cantonese. relationship‑driven, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support sales efforts across the region through proactive investor outreach, communication, opportunity tracking, and market mapping across LP types and geographies.

• Partner with senior sales leads to advance new business opportunities, prepare meeting materials, and manage follow‑up workflows.

• Articulate fund strategies, product positioning, and investment updates in a clear and compelling manner to institutional clients.

• Serve as a key contact for existing institutional LPs, supporting ongoing service needs and delivering a high-quality investor experience.

• Lead and coordinate product marketing, investment due diligence, and operational due diligence processes.

• Prepare thoughtful, accurate, and timely responses to investor requests, including DDQs, RFIs, and RFPs across multiple strategies.

• Collaborate with internal teams: sales, product, operations, and management, to ensure consistent messaging and seamless delivery.

• Work with Product Specialists and subject‑matter experts to stay current on strategy developments, portfolio activity, and firmwide initiatives.

• Assist in creating and updating marketing collateral, ensuring content is accurate, relevant, and approved by required stakeholders.

• Contribute to planning and execution of conferences, events, roadshows, and investor meetings.

• Maintain accurate CRM entries to track investor interactions, pipeline activity, and follow‑up tasks.

• Liaise with accounting, operations, IT, compliance, ESG, and tax teams to address investor information needs.

• Partner with colleagues in the New York headquarters to ensure alignment on processes, product updates, and global marketing standards.

Qualifications:

• 5-9 years of experience in financial services, ideally in asset management, private markets, capital raising, or investment banking.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin)

• Strong commercial instincts with the ability to develop high‑impact, client‑facing content.

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

• Detail‑oriented, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

• A collaborative team player with strong ownership and follow-through.
