Position Summary:
The focus of this position is client relationship management within Cambridge Associates’ Pensions Practice. The role is oriented toward supporting the health of key client relationships within the Pension Practice. The Analyst will partner with Client Engagement directors, business development colleagues, investment teams, and practice and firm leadership to support all aspects of client relationship management. This includes ensuring that the services CA is providing are aligned with client needs and preparing materials necessary to support client “check-in” conversations, relationship renewals, service modifications, and documenting those activities. The Analyst will play a significant role in running analysis and custom reports, shepherding Client Engagement efforts, and ensuring that E&F Practice Leadership has a strong pulse on the stability and growth areas for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Understand in detail the universe of clients the Client Engagement team most closely supports
• Produce regular and ad hoc reports on client retention, satisfaction, and revenue data
• Partner with Client Engagement directors to strategize and determine optimal solutions to address clients at risk
• Manage workflow pertaining to specific client actions including needs assessment, development of relevant proposal or presentation content, investment team and client communication, and recording of progress/outcomes in Microsoft Dynamics
• Conduct and synthesize analysis on client relationship risk measures including performance, changes among client and CA team personnel, client operating stress, and other factors.
• Draft client communications, including custom exhibits for presentations and service proposals
• Work with Client Engagement directors and practice/firm leadership to support client outreach (e.g., create tear sheets, document feedback, analyze and report on trends) and programmatic initiatives to retain and develop client relationships
• Participate on client calls to qualify needs, assess overall satisfaction, and complete any deliverables, follow-up, or documentation regarding those needs
• Lead in the creation, production, and submission of high-quality Request for Proposal and Request for information responses and associated follow-up actions
• Coordinate client visits or onsites, whether at the institution’s offices or at the offices of Cambridge Associates
• Populate and maintain client information in Microsoft Dynamics to ensure accurate relationship tracking, analytics, and reporting
• Leverage Cai (artificial intelligence) to populate client check-in call reports to create summaries of trends and overall client satisfaction.
• Collaborate and work across the Client Engagement group on cross-functional and cross-company initiatives
• Work with Legal and Client Accounting on contract or service change needs
• Participate in strategic planning with direction and oversight of supervisor
Qualifications:
• BA/BS and 1-2 years of relationship management, business development, sales, or financial services experience preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and interest in maintaining and creating custom reporting for the business
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize responsibilities
• Self-motivated and collaborative; able to work in a team-oriented environment
• Experience with CRM systems and/or PowerBI a plus
• Demonstrated ability to translate key messages into compelling presentations and reference materials (typically PowerPoint)
• Exceptional organizational skills and project management proficiency
• Complete the Series 3 Commodities/Futures exam within 3 months of hire – tutorials and study materials to be provided
The base salary range for this role is $62,800-$81,600. In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
