We are hiring a 6-month intern to join the Global Investment Research division at Cambridge Associates.Job Description:
Position Overview
The 6-month internship program is an opportunity to join the Global Investment Research division at Cambridge Associates, with a focus on private equity and venture capital in the Asia-Pacific region. The candidate will assist in conducting thorough due diligence on funds, preparing investment reports, analytical materials, and concise commentaries. The internship program typically begins in early January and concludes in June.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with completing in-depth due diligence on investment opportunities. Responsibilities include: preparation of pre-meeting analytical and background materials for manager meetings, attendance of manager meetings, quantitative analysis of fund returns and other tasks that will help in evaluating fund managers
Write reports, of various formats, to assist clients and colleagues in investment decision-making. This includes concise commentaries summarizing meetings with fund managers and in-depth due diligence reports
Assist colleagues seeking current information on investment opportunities, including data and analysis, comparisons across fund managers, and the opinion of the research team
Prepare exhibits for periodic Research meetings
Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Research team
Skills
Strong interest in investments, particularly in private equity and venture capital
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Strong command of written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and strong Excel skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/requests while ensuring integrity, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data
Possess humility and a willingness to work hard
Ability to work independently and to be a self-starter
Qualifications
Penultimate/final year students (any major), with a record of high academic achievement
Must be eligible to work in Singapore without sponsorship or restriction
