Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern for the Business Analyst position. The intern will work closely with the Financial Systems Team to support ongoing projects, analyze business requirements, and contribute to the enhancement of Oracle Fusion Cloud and Revport systems. This role is ideal for individuals interested in business analysis, and technology.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Financial Systems Team to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements and integrations.
- Assist in testing and validating system functionality, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving system issues related to Oracle Fusion Cloud and Revport.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning activities.
- Learn and apply best practices in financial systems and business analysis.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance or other related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with financial systems or ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud) is a plus but not required.
