Job Description Summary:

Resume and written response are required to be considered for the program.

This program is an opportunity for college students with no experience or prior exposure to private investments. Through this program, students will learn about the exciting world of private equity, venture capital, ESG/impact-focused strategies, and other private markets such as real estate and private credit. The five-day program will involve discussions of the various asset classes and private investment portfolio construction and will end with a capstone project. Students will have the opportunity to travel to Cambridge Associates’ headquarters in Boston, MA for the entirety of the program.

Job Description:

Program Format/Location: 5 days in Boston, MA at Cambridge Associates headquarters

Cambridge Associates will cover travel and related expenses. Participants will need to bring their own technology device to program. Access to Microsoft Office suite is necessary.

Program Dates/Time: May 18 through May 22, 2026; sessions will take place during normal business hours

Program Applicants: Open to rising sophomores and juniors (Classes of 2028 and 2029)

Required for application: Resume and written response to the following questions (no more than one page):

  • “Why do you want to learn more about private investments and attend this program?”
  • “What classes or activities have you taken/been involved with that demonstrate your interest in the investment industry?”
  • What is your most prominent attribute as a student and how will it help to add value to the CAMPP Program cohort?

Program Offerings:

  • Introduction to Cambridge Associates and private investments
  • Deep dive into private investment strategies including buyouts, growth equity, venture capital, ESG/impact, real estate and energy, and credit
  • Exposure to private investment portfolio construction
  • Exploration of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the investment industry and private investment sector
  • Opportunities to engage with investment and recruiting professionals for 1:1 mentoring, career guidance and resume review sessions

Instructional Format:

  • Case studies and lectures
  • Group projects and collaboration
  • Small group capstone presentation

Students We Are Seeking:

  • Eagerness to explore and learn about the investment industry and private investments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in team environment demonstrated through previous work experiences and/or extracurricular and volunteer activities
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite, including PowerPoint

In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package.
