Location of Position: Boston, MA
Program Length: 10-week program from early June to mid-August (open to rising juniors and seniors: Class of 2026 &2027)

Expected Hours: Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week
Base Pay/Salary: Boston, MA: $25 / hour and additionally, offer includes sign-on bonus.
Job Description:
DATA ANALYST INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The Data Office at Cambridge Associates is seeking motivated and curious interns to join our team for a 10-week summer program. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on financial services domain knowledge and experience in business and data analysis, data governance, data engineering, and development work that supports our enterprise data initiatives. Interns will work closely with the Chief Data Officer and Data Office team on projects that drive data governance, data quality, master data management (Security Master), and the development of our Snowflake Data Platform.
You will be exposed to real-world challenges in data management, analytics, and technology, and will contribute to projects that have a meaningful impact on our organization’s data strategy. This program is designed for students who are eager to learn, collaborate, and develop foundational skills for a career in data and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Data Office professionals on projects related to business analysis, data governance, data engineering, and development.
- Support the development and enhancement of the Data Platform, including data integration and automation tasks.
- Assist in the business and data analysis, design, testing, and implementation of data quality and master data management solutions.
- Analyze and document business and data requirements for data-related initiatives.
- Participate in data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation activities.
- Contribute to the creation of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support decision-making.
- Engage in team meetings, planning sessions, and code reviews.
- Communicate findings and progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Take part in self-guided learning and training sessions to build technical and business knowledge.

Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program, ideally in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with passion solving complex problems through data
- Interest in data management, data engineering, or business analysis.
- Basic programming experience (Python, SQL, or similar languages preferred).
- Interest in learning about finance and investment management.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (Boston office).
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized.
