Job Description Summary:
Cambridge Associates is expanding and investing in our business across Europe and has recentlylaunched our 14th office in Milan, Italy. We are building our investment team in Milan and are looking
for a Client Solutions Associate Director to join our office in support of our business development
efforts in Italy.
This individual will work closely with the client solutions team and the Italian investment teams to
coordinate coverage of available opportunities, which includes conducting basic research on
opportunities, responding to request for proposals (RFPs), creating introductory materials and tracking
all activity and recording it in a CRM system. The position requires a great deal of teamwork and
collaboration within Cambridge Associates. The individual should be capable of handling a large number
of efforts at one time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop a complete understanding of Cambridge Associates’ investment services, processes
and philosophy and passionately articulate the firm’s capabilities with internal constituents
• Work closely with the regional Client Solutions team members as well as global client solutions
colleagues and investment teams to map ecosystem – clients, prospects, influencers (attorneys,
accountants, other family office advisors)
• Support brand-building efforts in the region, including networking events and conferences
• Conduct background research on potential and actual opportunities
• Coordinate with other Client Solutions Directors and investment teams in EMEA to execute
engagement and outreach plan across clients, prospects, and centers of influence
• Participate in prospective client and client calls and write briefing documents. Evaluate
opportunities and apply business acceptance criteria to meet business goals for revenue growth
and profitability
• Write proposal letters and respond to RFPs
• Prepare PowerPoint materials for meetings with clients, prospective clients, and influencers
• Schedule and plan for prospective client meetings with investment teams
• Coordinate client and prospect meeting rehearsals with investment teams to ensure effective
sales discussions
• Update CRM system and report on trends
• Work collaboratively and in close partnership with colleagues at Cambridge Associates spanning
various groups including client solutions, marketing, firm & practice leadership, investment
directors, legal, and finance

QUALIFICATIONS
• Five to ten years of business development experience within the investment industry, ideally
with a focus on UHNW families and/or institutional clients (e.g., family offices, foundations,
pension funds) in Italy.
• Existing network in the Italian market.
• Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong listening and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to operate independently with a high-level of direct responsibility, while also partnering
effectively with both fellow client solutions team members and investment teams.
• The ability to strive for results, setting and achieving goals.
• Capable of managing long-term relationships.
• Ability to travel in Italy and Europe.
• Undergraduate degree is required
• Italian and English languages are a must.

112200In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
