Job Description Summary:
The Investment Analyst will play a key role in supporting the continued development of Cambridge Associates in Switzerland. Based in Zurich, the role encompasses investment analysis, portfolio support, manager research, and client servicing responsibilities, with a particular focus on insurance-linked securities (ILS).The individual will work closely with the Portfolio Management team in Zurich and collaborate with colleagues across the broader firm. Responsibilities will include supporting manager evaluation and monitoring, conducting portfolio-related analysis, and preparing client-facing materials such as reports, presentations, and investment updates. The role will also provide exposure to a wider range of alternative investments, including private credit, private equity, and hedge funds, as well as selected business development initiatives.

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Support the selection, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring of investment managers, with a focus on insurance-linked securities and other alternative investments.
- Assist with portfolio construction analysis, asset allocation support, and research projects, particularly in ILS and Alternative Risk Transfer strategies.
- Prepare and support the delivery of quarterly and ad hoc client materials, including reports, presentations, portfolio reviews, and investment analyses.
- Draft client documentation in close coordination with the team and progressively assume greater ownership of deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across investment, product, operations, legal, compliance, and marketing to collect and validate information for due diligence, reporting, and client communications.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy of portfolio data, investment commentary, and supporting documentation used in client and prospect communications.
- Support day-to-day client servicing needs, including responding to client requests and assisting with related deliverables.
- Contribute to business development and prospecting activities through the preparation of pitch materials, presentations, market research, and meeting follow-up documentation.
- Support the local Zurich team on broader investment and client-related matters, as required.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- Some relevant professional experience in asset management, portfolio management support, institutional client service, or a comparable field.
- Experience supporting due diligence, manager analysis, reporting, or client communications is highly desirable.
- Exposure to alternative investments, including ILS, private credit, private equity, and hedge funds, would be beneficial.
Education
- University master degree or equivalent qualification in finance, economics or business administration.
- Progress toward, or interest in pursuing, a professional qualification such as the CFA is advantageous.
Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as R or Python would be an advantage.
Language Skills
- Fluent German and English are required.
- French is an advantage.

75000In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
