Your opportunity
Institutional Client Relationships
- Develop and manage institutional client relationships in collaboration with the Client Director and Australian Institutional Client Group, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and ensuring responsive and effective communication.
- Provide comprehensive ownership of client query resolution, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, and ensure prompt and efficient responses to client requests, coordinating with third-party administrators, transfer agents, custodians, and internal departments.
- Partner with the Client & Product Implementation team, facilitating smooth transitions and onboardings and acting as the liaison with clients.
- Oversee the submission and completion of RFPs, due diligence requests, and questionnaires. Coordinate and host operational due diligence reviews.
- Support the Australian Institutional Client Group and contribute to the sales process.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met and negotiate investment management agreements and amendments.
- Communicate mandate changes to legal and other internal stakeholder teams and ensure updates are accurately reflected in agreements.
- Organise and participate in client meetings, portfolio reviews, and operational meetings.
- Review and approve all mandate reporting.
- Maintain and update Salesforce with client details, activity, and relevant information.
Other Responsibilities
- Liaise with relevant departments concerning compliance, regulatory issues, performance measurement, fee and finance related matters.
- Maintain client database, recording contact with clients, ensuring all client information is up to date and all work activity is tracked, in line with procedures.
- Lead or assist in projects as directed.
- Delivering client communications regarding changes to products and key events and notices.
- Maintain and improve investment product and market knowledge.
- Understand performance and its impact on relationships both internal and external.
- Your role may require you to interact with other JHI offices, employees and third parties based in different time zones, outside of core business hours, such as the UK, USA and Asia.

Must have skills
- Extensive Asset Management experience in Client Service and related roles.
- Experience in working with Institutional clients who invest across both pooled and segregated vehicles
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to form good working relationships with all clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and CRM systems
