Your opportunity
- Manage the relationships with clients, internal and external, in agreement with the Head of Client Account Management, Client Director and the client team
- Provide ultimate ownership for resolution of all non-investment related client queries
- Serve as the client’s primary point of contact during onboarding and transition events, coordinating with JHI’s Client & Product Implementation (CPI) team and internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Operations, Reporting, Investment) to deliver a smooth, well‑controlled go‑live and change process Own escalations and client communications through completion
- Responsible for ensuring that any changes to the mandate are communicated to the legal and other relevant departments and reflected in IMAs / letters of amendment
- Use technical knowledge and experience to ensure the administration of the client’s funds runs efficiently, including transitions, accounting queries, settlement queries, custody, cash movements, tax matters etc.
- Update and maintain the CRM System with client contact, activity, and funds flow, ensuring all client and fund information are up to date and all work activity is tracked, in line with Department procedure
- Proactively anticipate clients’ requirements. Respond to client queries and requests promptly and efficiently, involving third party administrators, transfer agents, custodians, and internal departments
- Liaise with relevant departments concerning compliance, regulatory issues, performance measurement, fees, and finance related matters
- Ensure that portfolio review pitch books are updated on an ad-hoc basis and undertake the quarterly and annual review
- Ensure all regulatory AML requirements are updated annually
- Manage, integrate and customize content from various sources to prepare high quality marketing materials (English/Chinese) appropriately tailored to the client segments
- Responsible for the timely delivery of prospectuses, semi-annual/annual reports, customized client reports, client notices and internal sales reports.
- Coordinate and oversee completion of all due‑diligence questionnaires (DDQs); manage fund‑onboarding templates for new fund additions across private banks and retail banks; handle hedge‑fund and mutual‑fund account openings (including liaison with transfer agents and operations teams); and manage end‑to‑end processing of all client subscription, transfer, and redemption requests
- Assist the Institutional Sales Director with the completion of RFPs, including coordination of inputs with the RFP Team and ensuring accurate, high‑quality, and timely submission

Must have skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required; Cantonese proficiency is an advantage but not essential
- Securities and Futures Commission Licenses (Type 1 and 4) is required and must be obtained within the first 3 months from the commencement of employment
- Ability to comprehend Janus Henderson’s array of asset class strategies
- Ability to priorities and manage time efficiently
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and CRM systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to form good working relationships with all clients and internal stakeholders
- Confident and proactive approach

- Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
Nice to have skills
- Experience in working with institutional and intermediary clients with both pooled and segregated assets is preferred
