Your opportunity

The Senior Analyst, Investment Operations, supports daily investment processes by ensuring accurate and efficient execution across the investment lifecycle. Working with Team Leads and Portfolio Management, this role handles end-to-end operational support—including trade processing, reconciliations, data integrity, and issue resolution—while collaborating across teams. The Senior Analyst also drives process improvements, supports risk mitigation and compliance, and fosters a collaborative, high-performance team culture.

  • Support Team Leads by assisting with daily operational workflows across key functional areas.
  • Contribute to achieving departmental objectives by executing assigned operational tasks aligned with organizational goals.
  • Perform core operational activities across Trade Operations, Asset Servicing, Investment Accounting (Reconciliations), Treasury Operations, Pricing & Valuations, and Alternative Investment Operations.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and control, supporting operational excellence, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices within the team.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across portfolio management, technology, compliance, legal, and risk to resolve operational issues and support process enhancements.
  • Participate in operational projects, including user testing, procedural updates, system enhancements, and process redesign initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing for internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and senior management reporting by providing accurate data and documentation.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex issues within your remit, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update operational procedures and documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with current practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support broader operational goals.

Must have skills

  • Broad Investment Operations Expertise: Significant experience across middle office processes, including but not limited to end-to-end trade lifecycle (trade capture, confirmation, settlement), collateral management, corporate actions, reconciliation, performance, and cash oversight (FX oversight, cash ladders and overdraft monitoring)
  • Deep investment product knowledge: Strong understanding of financial instruments across equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX and alternatives including knowledge of various product offerings
  • Operational Control: Strong understanding of operational risk, control frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process enhancements to drive efficiency and mitigate risk.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and with senior internal and external partners.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective interactions with stakeholders at all levels.
