What You’ll Do

As our HR Senior Specialist, you’ll play a key role in making Kirkland a great place to work by:

  • Welcoming new talent: Lead the onboarding experience for attorneys and staff—providing a warm first impression, essential firm info, and seamless paperwork processing
  • Fostering a connected culture: Plan and coordinate engaging office-wide events, wellbeing initiatives, and community service activities that bring our people together.
  • Supporting our people: Serve as a trusted HR resource in Dallas, helping with everything from inclusion efforts to training logistics, employee relations, and office transitions.
  • Ensuring smooth transitions: Oversee the offboarding process, conduct exit surveys, and manage sensitive terminations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Collaborating with leadership: Work closely with the Senior Director of Administration, local HR leadership, and Talent Delivery to drive firm-wide priorities and elevate the employee experience.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where your interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and professional discretion will shine.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a confident, adaptable professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally in a law firm or professional services setting
  • A client-service mindset with strong judgment, integrity, and the ability to handle confidential information with care
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities while staying organized and poised under pressure
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and comfort navigating systems and data
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends to meet deadlines
