What You’ll Do

Are you passionate about HR and ready to contribute to one of the most respected law firms in the world? Kirkland & Ellis is seeking a Human Resource Senior Specialist to join our dynamic Talent Department in Miami. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the employee experience — from onboarding top-tier legal talent to driving engagement and well-being initiatives.

As an integral member of our HR team, you will:

  • Coordinate and support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, engagement, performance evaluations, and offboarding.
  • Plan and execute community service, wellbeing, and office-wide engagement events that foster a collaborative culture.
  • Work directly with the Senior Director of Administration to implement office-wide HR operations and initiatives.
  • Support inclusion and diversity programs locally and assist with training logistics for our Learning & Development team.
  • Handle confidential personnel matters with professionalism and discretion.

What You’ll Bring

We're looking for someone with:

  • A bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally in a law firm or professional services setting.
  • A strong sense of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Outstanding organization and communication skills — you’re detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and a proven ability to build strong relationships across departments and offices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, along with excellent calendar and event management skills.
  • A flexible schedule that allows occasional evening or weekend work.
