Job Description

We’re currently looking to hire a Pooled Index Investment Specialist to join L&G Asset Management.

This fantastic role is designed to support the growing business from a distribution perspective as a subject matter expert. You'll have the opportunity to support the growth of the business across multiple fund wrappers and regions, from ETFs, Unit Trusts to ICAVs

What you’ll be doing:

Participate in sales and marketing efforts (45%)

  • Supporting sales teams to help drive AUM and revenues by participating in client meetings, responding to client queries and running ad hoc analysis, you’ll also help Sales to position our products in line with the changing markets’ environment and by providing content and market analysis
  • Conducting training sessions for the sales team to educate them on the messaging, positioning of our fund ranges and new developments in the market

Contribute to the development of investment strategies (10%)

  • Originating ideas based on client feedback, market research and internal discussions and monitor the market and regulatory changes for new opportunities
  • Proactively working with various teams (sales, legal, marketing, product, portfolio management, IT, data management and others) within the firm to complete projects and identify synergies

Manage fund and marketing collateral (45%)

  • Collaborating with Marketing and Events teams to help them prioritize specific asset classes and individual products as part of their Content pipeline.
  • Maintaining and evolving product collateral (pitch books, cheatsheets, earnings reports, peer monitors)
  • Preparing research and quantitative reports (performance, risk metrics, attribution, subsector analysis, stock analysis etc)
  • Contributing towards periodic reports and commentary that help clients remain up-to-date with our products

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

  • Prior Financial Services experience either on the buy-side or sell-side with demonstrated experience in Client Relationship Management or Sales preferred
  • Currently pursuing the CFA designation or have a degree in Financial Markets, Asset Management, or a related discipline
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse client base
  • Driven and enthusiastic, with a proactive approach to learning and professional development
  • A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative team environment but is also comfortable working independently
