Job Description

We’re recruiting for an International Client Manager to provide an efficient and effective service, sales support and relationship management to our portfolio of clients in the DACH region.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing and maintaining exceptional client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Owning and coordinating the successful resolution of client enquiries by liaising and leveraging expertise across the business to project manage ad-hoc queries, data requests and client change, thought to completion in line with client expectations
  • Providing high-level technical support, demonstrating an understanding of clients’ decision-making processes and long-term objectives, answering complex queries, and identifying business opportunities and risks
  • Identifying and following up on leads and sales opportunities with the goal of maximising revenue
  • Attending meetings and conference calls as needed, and taking sole responsibility for audit and operational meetings when opportunities arise
  • Demonstrating strong technical knowledge of L&G products, brand, services, and market competitors, while developing and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the investment market, economic trends, and L&G’s perspectives to discuss solutions with clients and consultants
  • Overseeing and assisting with the production of legal documentation, reports and client specific data relevant to the clients investment strategy
  • Personally practicing L&G cultural values and behaviours, ensuring the maintenance of a true OneL&G culture and helping make L&G a business that all can be proud to work for an would recommend to others. Participating in a risk and conduct risk aware culture, including having an awareness of the Consumer Duty regulation an the need to ensure the delivery of good client and customer outcomes

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

  • A native or fluent level of German is essential
  • Strong overall Investment knowledge including an understanding of the different investment vehicle options and knowledge of the current investment market and economic issues
  • Experience within the investment management industry including providing an exceptional level of client service and sales support
  • Demonstrable track record of dealing with external clients and building significant relationships with external contacts up to and including senior levels
  • Experience working with Institutional European market, ideally with the pensions industry and exposure to non-UK market
  • Detailed Institutional Investment product knowledge
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
