Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Grants Compliance Officer to join us. In this role, you will assist in managing the grant programmes of the business's strategic partnerships with the Greater London Authority (GLA) and Homes England (HE) and any other applicable body. This role ensures the successful documentation and delivery of affordable housing projects in compliance with public funding agreements and regulatory standards.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting the Grant Compliance Manager in recording and delivering affordable housing development schemes in accordance with public funding agreements and regulatory requirements
- Liaising with Development and Delivery Managers to ensure accurate recording of all grant-funded schemes in the IMS and OPS systems
- Ensuring milestone claims are completed diligently and timely in compliance with grant funding requirements
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate management and financial information related to schemes in the appropriate master schedule and systems
- Monthly monitoring and recording the relevant development expenses for each grant funded scheme in readiness for the QDE
- Enhancing existing process in accordance with any changes in regulation and the Capital Funding Guide
- Collaborating with key business stakeholders, including Development Managers, Delivery Managers, Sales agents, and Finance, to ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations and the Capital Funding Guide
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all colleagues
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
- Knowledge of social housing and the wider residential sectors
- Understanding of social housing development, housing management, and regulatory requirements
- Experience operating the IMS and OPS systems
- Effective project management and risk management skills
- Good experience in contract management and compliance
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- A self-driven, innovative spirit that embraces change and opportunity
- Commercially astute and able to work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders
