Job Description

Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights and improving business systems? We’re looking for a Systems Analyst specialising in Management Information (MI) to join our Group Finance IT (GFIT) team.

This is a great opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders and technologies, helping shape the future of our data and reporting capabilities. If you enjoy solving complex problems and driving continuous improvement, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

• Converting business requirements into technical specifications
• Creating dashboards and interactive reports using Power BI
• Identifying and monitoring KPIs to support business objectives
• Gaining a deep understanding of systems, processes and data across GFIT-supported areas
• Designing data models and transforming raw data into meaningful insights
• Performing Power Query and DAX queries to support reporting needs
• Identifying inefficiencies and recommending technology-driven improvements
• Communicating effectively and delivering timely Management Information

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

• Good knowledge of Power BI, DAX, Power Query and SQL
• Proven experience in systems analysis and BI development
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible language
• Experience with ServiceNow would be a huge plus!
• A background in finance or actuarial systems would also be great
