Job Description
Are you ready to lead the way in responsible AI? We’re looking for a collaborative and strategic thinker to join us as an AI Governance Manager. In this role, you’ll help shape how AI is developed and governed across our organisation, ensuring innovation is aligned with ethical standards and business goals.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading stakeholder engagement across senior forums and project sponsors
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of AI governance projects and initiatives
- Embedding group-wide AI governance frameworks and operational mechanisms
- Defining and agreeing outcomes and requirements with stakeholders
- Driving high-quality, data-led outputs to support decision-making
- Owning and coordinating communications around AI governance and development
- Sharing industry insights to inform internal AI strategy and awareness
- Ensuring systems and processes support good customer outcomes
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships
- Strong understanding of AI governance, business analysis and delivery frameworks
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels
- Ability to lead teams and work independently in ambiguous environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence and Agile/Waterfall methodologies
- Experience in financial services or similarly regulated industries
- A degree or equivalent experience (certifications like BCS, PSPO, Prince2 are a plus)
- A strategic mindset with a passion for ethical and impactful AI
