Job Description

Are you ready to lead complex investment change projects that shape the future of asset management? At Legal & General Investment Management, we’re looking for a dynamic and collaborative ISM Project Manager to join our Investment Strategy Management team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of investment transformation, partnering with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading investment change projects across portfolio restructures, asset allocation shifts, and client onboarding/offboarding
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and risk-controlled investment solutions
  • Designing and implementing change strategies that optimise outcomes for clients and the business
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and facilitating effective communication across departments
  • Chairing project meetings, driving agendas, and ensuring timely follow-up on actions
  • Supporting Client Directors with technical expertise and market insights throughout project lifecycles
  • Educating internal teams on mandate change implications and promoting best practices
  • Identifying inefficiencies and developing innovative solutions to enhance investment processes

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience managing complex investment-related projects, ideally within asset management
  • Strong understanding of investment products including equities, fixed income, FX, and derivatives
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and negotiate across stakeholder groups
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and outcome-focused approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks and process improvement initiatives
  • Educated to degree level; IMC or CFA qualification desirable
