Job Description

We’re recruiting for a Payroll Systems Specialist to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary. Are you passionate about payroll systems and process optimisation? We’re looking for a Payroll System Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in supporting and enhancing our payroll systems. What you'll be doing:

• Supporting payroll system functionality and contributing to process improvements
• Undertaking system testing and validating changes to ensure accuracy and resilience
• Providing technical support and recommending solutions to complex payroll issues
• Collaborating with change agents to adapt systems to evolving business needs
• Monitoring non-production environments and conducting regular data reviews
• Performing disaster recovery testing and contingency planning
• Assisting with project delivery and embedding business testing processes
• Covering aspects of implementation during team absences to maintain service continuity

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

• Demonstrating initiative in troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Communicating effectively across all levels of the organisation
• Applying strong analytical skills to system functionality and defect management
• Prioritising tasks using structured approaches such as MoSCoW
• Planning and organising testing activities with attention to detail
• Working inclusively and collaboratively within a team environment
• Understanding payroll processes and regulatory frameworks
• Bringing experience in user testing across multiple project phases (e.g. SIT, BAT, PAT)
