This is a fixed-term contract to cover a temporary increase of workload within the Iberia & Americas Channel Marketing Team. The role holder will be a senior marketer, responsible for the delivery of the local marketing strategy and the development of the regional marketing plans. You will be accountable for the implementation and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional and advertising activities in Spain, Portugal and the Americas (Latam, US Offshore and US Onshore), working closely with the Regional Marketing Lead and the dedicated Channel Marketing Team for the region. The role will support all asset classes including fixed income, equities and multi-asset for wholesale and institutional audience segments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Iberia & Americas Marketing Lead in the execution of the channel marketing strategy, delivering multi-audience marketing plans in line with business objectives and commercial priorities across institutional, wholesale and retail channels.
  • Work with the wider Marketing functions and act as facilitator and local coordinator to ensure successful delivery of regional campaigns and marketing activities, showcasing influencing skills and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all financial promotions comply with regulatory requirements from FCA, CSSF and the local regulators: CNMV, CMVM and SEC and FINRA and that compliance processes are strictly adhered to on a day-to-day basis.
  • Responsible for quarterly and ad-hoc reporting plus analysis on KPIs to measure campaign results covering advertising, email marketing, videos, campaigns, social media, websites, SEO, content partnerships and any relevant digital promotional activity associated to the channels.
  • Design a comprehensive range of marketing literature up-to-date and lead on the creation on new materials to support local campaigns, events or sales activity, working closely with the relevant teams.
  • Be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic and/or tactical email campaigns to deliver top-quality digital communications to clients and the execution of other digital initiatives like videos, landing pages, online brochures, etc.
  • Manage and develop the content pipeline for clients and media partnerships, delivering advertorials and content requests for external partners’ publications and websites.
  • Supervise content development and strategy for the social media profile in LinkedIn within the Spanish channel.
  • To work closely with internal departments and external agencies to ensure deadlines are adhered to and processes are effectively followed.
  • Budget control and invoice processing functions, supporting the Marketing Lead when necessary in required reviews, forecasts and finance reporting.
  • Support the Marketing Lead and the wider Marketing Team on the coordination, planning and execution for global ad hoc projects.


Skills & Experience:

  • Native Spanish speaker with a good level of English.
  • A marketing qualification and relevant previous work experience in marketing roles.
  • Good understanding of investment products and the financial services industry.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated team player with exceptional communication skills, able to work effectively with different people and departments.
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects).
  • Excellent organizational skills in order to manage numerous projects at the same time with outstanding priority management and multi-tasking.
  • Digitally-led and creative flair.
  • Deadline-oriented, excellent proof-reading skills and able to work effectively under pressure and with tight deadlines.
