We are looking for an experienced Tagetik Application SME, with extensive and proven experience on Power BI to join our Corporate Finance Technology (CFT) team.
This role is responsible for providing first-line functional support for Group Consolidation and Solvency II reporting (incl. Power BI suite of reports) modules in Tagetik, managing stakeholder expectations.
There will be a requirement to provide user maintenance support for couple of other finance applications, i.e. Atticus & Orbitax – so knowledge of ITIL principles is mandatory.
The ideal candidate will possess strong domain knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate support operations effectively.
As a manager, your responsibilities will include:
Functional Support & Issue Resolution
- Triaging and resolution of issues with Power BI datasets, performance issues and maintain existing semantic models in Tagetik.
- Provide user maintenance support for small financial applications i.e. Atticus and Orbitax.
- Provide support across Tagetik Consolidation and PPS SII solution tools as part of the BAU (Business As Usual) support team.
- Troubleshoot complex issues raised by users during key reporting cycles.
- Analyse and resolve ServiceNow tickets, adhering to SLAs.
- Coordinate amongst teams (networks / security / workplace etc.) to resolve issues not pointing towards SaaS application, but M&G’s policies.
- Support version upgrades and participate actively in service reviews with vendor.
- Keeping yourself up-to date with SaaS product community to be aware of latest events, releases, fixes etc.
Business Engagement and Change Process
- Impact assess Power BI suite of reports and make necessary amendments which may include changes in upstream systems.
- Support the end user training sessions on latest processes and functions.
- Regular reviews and updates to the application documentation following minor / major enhancements.
- Promote awareness of controls principles in daily operations of the team.
- Evaluate new requirements by coordinating with business stakeholders and manage and co-ordinate the implementation lifecycle.
- Actively work on JIRA stories, identify the pain points and come up with initiatives that would result in quantifiable business benefits.
- Translate complex reporting requirements into system builds and configurations.
- Assist in the end-to-end implementation of change requests and release cycles for application.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a primary point of contact for business users regarding application queries and issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements, manage expectations, and provide timely updates on issue resolution.
- Participate in change management discussions and impact assessments across downstream systems, for new business requirements.
- Coordinate among various teams to facilitate BAU resolution of issues for Atticus and Orbitax.
Team Player & Supervision
- Support team members, ensuring balanced workloads and timely resolution of support tickets.
- Monitor team performance against SLAs and drive continuous improvement in support processes.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification
Required Years of Experience
- 5 to 8 years with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Required Technical Skills
- Expertise in Power BI: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in creating Power BI reports, DAX queries, maintaining existing reports / semantic models and triaging of connection & performance related problems.
- Domain Exposure: Background in captive organizations within the banking, insurance, or financial services sectors.
Supporting Skills
- Functional Expertise in Consolidation: Understanding of Group Consolidation and Regulatory Reporting of any other Group consolidation and Reporting tool.
- Shell Scripting: Understanding Azure DevOps and coding knowledge of shell scripts will be an added advantage.
- Team player: Proven experience in working with teams, including task allocation and undertaking.
- Stakeholder Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: In any discipline, preferably in Finance or IT.
- Postgraduate Qualification (Optional): Master’s degree (MBA, M.Com, or equivalent) with a specialization in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology.
Professional Certifications:
- Microsoft Power BI certifications – PL300 or any other equivalent.
