Primary Key Responsibilities (Top 3-5 KRA)

· Agile Delivery & Team Coaching: Establish high-performing scrum teams; facilitate

scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Reviews, Retrospectives); drive continuous

improvement. Coach Product Owners on backlog health and value-led roadmaps.

· Planning, Funding & Outcomes: Run sprint planning and schedules, ensuring visibility of

scope, dependencies, and critical path. Partner with Delivery Manager to secure resources

and approve sprint scope. Facilitate shared understanding of requirements and track

delivery against forecasts.

· Data Delivery Enablement & Tooling: Facilitate environments, pipelines, testing, and

deployment. Embed best practices (peer reviews, unit testing, traceability). Champion

consistent use of delivery tooling (e.g., Jira) and provide accurate metrics for reporting.

Additional Responsibilities :

· Stakeholder & Supplier Management: Act as delivery owner for business leads, product owners, and control functions. Ensure blended teams (internal and supplier) integrate deliverables and drive joint retrospectives and improvement. · Risk, Controls & Compliance: Proactively manage delivery, operational, and data risks.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification

Knowledge & Skills (Must Have) :

· Deep understanding of the data delivery lifecycle (extraction, ingestion, ETL/ELT, modelling,

analytics).

· Familiarity with Azure Data Factory/Synapse, Databricks, Azure DevOps CI/CD, Power BI.

· Experience running initiatives with control of scope, cost, schedule, and benefits.

· Mastery of delivery controls and governance (RAID, dependencies, SteerCo reporting, change

control).

· Strong communicator and facilitator, able to influence stakeholders and coach teams in

agile/lean practices.

Knowledge & Skills (Additional) :

· Exposure to FS regulatory/reporting (e.g., IFRS 17, Solvency II) and operational readiness

(runbooks, monitoring, DR).

· Experience improving delivery maturity (playbooks, templates, metrics) across

squads/partners.

Experience:

· 5–8+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master leading engineering/data squads, ideally in

Financial Services.

· Experience with Agile development (Scrum/Kanban) is must

· Experience with task tracking systems like Jira is must

· Should have worked on Data delivery projects

Educational Qualification:

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT

· Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus

· Azure Data platform certifications is a plus
