The role:

The Business Transformation team plays a pivotal role in reshaping the Asset Management business to enable scalable growth, operational excellence, and a market‑leading client experience. As a Business Transformation Manager, you will support business design, process analysis, and problem‑solving activities across key transformation initiatives including Growth, Location Strategy & Internationalisation, Simplification, and Business Efficiency. This role is ideal for someone early in their transformation or business analysis career who is keen to develop their analytical, process, and problem‑solving skills while working alongside senior transformation leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Process Analysis

  • Support data gathering and analysis to identify themes, trends, and opportunities, and assist in producing clear outputs that summarise findings.
  • Assist in conducting process mapping, workflow documentation, and cost or impact analysis.
  • Contribute to identifying inefficiencies and pain points through research, interviews, and observation.
  • Support root cause analysis activities to provide problem statement and recommendations

Problem Solving & Solution Design

  • Help translate business needs into clear documentation such as process maps, requirements, and user stories.
  • Contribute to developing potential solutions, supporting design sessions and workshops.
  • Assist in preparing business cases, reports, and presentation materials for leadership decision‑making.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and engagement sessions, ensuring actions and documentation are captured effectively.
  • Support multiple projects or workstreams at the same time, ensuring priorities are understood to support timely and high quality delivery.

Delivery & Execution Support

  • Assist in managing specific tasks or workstream components within transformation initiatives; taking initiative and leading individual pieces of work to support wider project execution.
  • Track progress against milestones, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues appropriately.
  • Support project managers and senior team members with governance reporting and project documentation.

Continuous Improvement

  • Apply Lean, continuous improvement, and process excellence techniques (training provided if needed).
  • Support efforts to simplify processes, automate routine tasks, and standardise practices.

Data & Insight

  • Use Excel, Power BI, Co-Pilot, or similar tools to create simple dashboards, visuals, and analysis to support decision‑making.
  • Support analysis to quantify benefits (e.g., time saved, efficiency gains, cost impacts).

Key Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • Some experience in business analysis, change, consulting, operations, or related roles (or strong interest in developing in this field).
  • Ability to analyse data, identify patterns, and draw logical conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Basic experience in process mapping
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders at different levels, gathering information, and supporting workshops.
  • Curious mindset with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; any exposure to data visualisation tools is a plus.

Desirable

  • Exposure to Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or operational excellence principles (formal training beneficial but not required).
  • Experience supporting change or transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile or project management methodologies.
