Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM), a global leader in wealth management, provides access to a wide range of products and services to individuals, businesses, and institutions, including brokerage and investment advisory services, financial and wealth planning, credit and lending, cash management, annuities and insurance, retirement, and trust. Our MSWM Capital Markets Team provides individuals, corporations, and governments around the world with a wide range of products and services. Our scope extends across multiple asset classes, providing differentiated, commercial content and first-class service.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • · Engage MSWM financial advisors with market commentary, strategy, and relative value trade ideas across FI asset classes.
  • · Perform portfolio reviews of client accounts and propose reallocation strategies to take advantage of current market opportunities.
  • · Utilize desk resources, including credit analysts and strategists to analyze and assess positions held in client accounts for weekly FA calls.
  • · Collaborate with Advisory Trading Desk to source product and facilitate fixed income transactions.

Requirements

  • · Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fixed Income Sales & Trading.
  • · Fundamental understanding of global credit/interest sensitive markets.
  • · Ability to identify investment opportunities and analyze client portfolios.
  • · Candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • · A fast-paced and intense environment requires an aptitude for analyzing and interpreting often complex information in a timely manner.
  • · FINRA Series 7, 66 (63 & 65) required or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
