We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Vice President to join our Divisional Management which supports the Operations senior leadership team in the delivery against the Global Operations mission, goals and people strategy.

The team is responsible for firmwide governance reporting, financial control and regional management. The team is also responsible for the global people strategy which includes career and talent development, leadership, wellbeing, diversity & inclusion and operations culture.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo. This is Associate position within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Drive the overall Vendor Management for Operations, to ensure all supplier services in scope are governed in line with the Vendor Management framework.

  • Collaborate with different stakeholders within and outside Operations for the overall vendor governance, manage the vendor risk management, facilitation of risk assessments, ongoing monitoring, and stakeholder engagement wherever appropriate.

  • Serve as vendor relationship contact for Operations and support them to meet functional area goals and policy requirements.

  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and presentations to senior management.
    Build and maintain relationships across Sourcing, Finance, Audit, Legal, Risk and Technology.

  • Review issues, service disruptions and incidents to escalate as appropriate.
    Interface with Firmwide Sourcing regarding pending agreements and renewals
    Periodic metrics reporting to Sr Mgmt on various aspect related to Vendor Management
    Monthly Headcount Reconciliation, Accruals and Invoice Processing for supplier services Drive Vendor Performance Reviews with Business Units
    Track Audit schedule and share periodic audit report with vendors
    Coordination with other support groups like Corporate Services, Ops Admin, Training Management Team, Tech to effectively drive various management strategies
    Identify opportunities for process improvement and to enhance existing framework.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services industry with 1-2 years of relevant experience in Vendor Management

  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills

  • Confidence and ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships, both within Operations and across the broader organisation.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Detail-oriented with ability to work independently / multi-task and handle multiple priorities.

  • Ability to analyse data, extract key information and provide a summary to senior management.

  • Ability to be flexible, adjust to changing priorities and unforeseen events, and proactively adjust strategy and approach.

  • Strong sense of urgency, accountability and ownership and proactively escalates issues / roadblocks.

  • Performance-driven and an ability to take on challenges, to execute key deliverables.

  • Able to challenge the existing processes and status quo.

  • Good project management skills are a plus.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and related applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
