The Wealth Management Platforms organization manages digital platforms and experiences across the Advisor, Workplace and Direct (Morgan Stanley Online and E*TRADE) channels, ensuring that our capabilities lead the industry and are delivered and integrated seamlessly. Within the Wealth Management Platforms Organization, Digital Lending Platform Team is responsible for building an industry-leading, highly automated lending platform supporting the next phase of growth of Securities Based Lending, Tailored Lending and Mortgage Businesses.
We are hiring a talented product manager to enhance our client-facing lending offerings on Web and Mobile and bring new digital capabilities live to market for Morgan Stanley and E*TRADE clients. This is a highly collaborative role, where you will work closely with our team of digital product managers and partner with designers, engineers, operations, credit, finance, and business stakeholders to transform the experience for all our customers.
You will:
- Contribute to cultivating a highly productive dev squad based in Budapest and collaborate remotely with a team of digital product managers based in NYC
- Work with digital product managers, engineers, business, and control partners to define and write requirements
- Dive deep into technical complexities and collaborate with engineering teams on finding practical solutions
- Engage in end user research, and use data analysis to inform requirements; wireframe design of new product features
- Present findings and project updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Diagnose and resolve any technical issues or system errors that may arise within the client-facing platform
You have:
- 2-5 years of professional experience developing technology in a demanding, agile environment
- Working knowledge of financial lending products
- Experience with software business analysis
- BA/BS required
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communicator with solid written and verbal presentation skills
- Highly developed sense of ownership and accountability for work
- Strong attention to detail in both technical and non-technical capacity
- An understanding of web technologies, the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Focus on usability and an eye for design
- Excellent relationship building capabilities with partners both internal and external to the organization
- Strategic problem solver able to define and evaluate alternatives, and break high-level goals into specific project tasks
- Independent initiative and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to changing and evolving business needs
- Ability to measure a given business problem to both quantify the issue and the benefits from the technology solution; SQL skills are a plus
You might also have:
- Professional experience in wealth management, retail banking, and/or consumer financial technology serving U.S.-based clients
- Working knowledge of the design thinking process and experience guiding user researchers towards actionable insight
- Professional experience in consumer technology
