We’re seeking someone to join our team as (Director) Global Banking and Operations Technology (GBOT) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm’s WM Technology Division. We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. This includes state-of-the-art technology for a nationwide network of Private Bankers and product specialists who work with Financial Advisors to provide access to products and services such as online banking, cards, deposit products, residential mortgages, securities-based loans, and tailored lending. WM_Technology

Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.

WM Product Technology

Wealth Management Product Technology (WMPT) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm’s WM Technology Division. What you’ll do in the role:

• Work on QA processes for Banking workstream(s) with heavy focus on execution of automation across the Bank Product Domains dealing with various automation tools and techniques.
• Work as part of a Banking Agile Squad/Fleet.
• Write utilities, as needed, to automate manual steps/processes.
• Understand requirements, create test cases (unit/component/multi-component), automate, and deliver projects.
• Actively contribute and participate in design and architecture discussions, daily stand-ups, and Agile Sprint planning sessions.
• Working in the Agile development methodologies, collaborating with business and technology teams located globally.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Skills Required:

• 8-12 years of hands-on QA experience.
• Practical experience with Automation (DevOps) testing and coding skills.
• Hands-on programming experience in languages like Java Script / Type Script/JMeter/Core Java/Groovy
• Hands on API testing
• Strong SQL experience with various databases.
• At least 2 years of team leading experience
• Practical automation frameworks experience in Gherkins-Cucumber (BDD).
• Practical knowledge of one automation tool (Cypress, Playwright etc.)./Selenium
• Good test case creation ability.
• Practical experience with Agile Methodology.
• Have an experience working with globally distributed teams.
• Able to work with Business and technology leadership.
• Team player with effective communication skills to work effectively in a global team.
• Able to demonstrate/experience in Leadership, Ownership and accountability aspect
• Self-motivated, problem solver.
• Willingness to learn and grow.


Skills Desired:

• Working knowledge of Unix/Shell Scripting knowledge and DevOps experience in CI/CD
• Working knowledge of financial domain
