Product Controller Associate

We're seeking someone to join our Product Controller team as an Associate in Wealth Management Finance to accurately capturing all the business events on the books and records of the firm (Sub-ledgers & GL) driven by the revenue generated from the Wealth Management product.
In the Firmwide Marketing division, we create a powerful, unified, client-driven story for the Firm that translates what we do into what we say. This is an Associate position within our Corporate Controllers, Reporting & Accounting Job Family which is responsible for the accuracy and control of the Firm’s books and records to produce the consolidated firm, segment and legal entities financial statements, including development, management and oversight of financial accounting & reporting systems as well as database management, including capital and liquidity reporting and external reporting functions.

What you'll do in the role:
Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
Responsible for and lead aspects of individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segments
Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; proactively identify ways to reduce risk in work
Act as a culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards
Prepare transactional and brokerage revenue reconciliations.
Monthly revenue reporting preparation.
Reconcile transactional revenues by client and prepare / review journal entries.
Review and attest on P&L and balance sheet balances - documenting issues, breaks and resolution of issues.
Support with automation, process improvements and new product initiatives.
Ad hoc analysis and support as required for Business Units.
What you'll bring to the role:
Working knowledge of Finance functional area, industry and competitive environment
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and adapt to various audiences
Willingness to seek guidance and provide feedback to further develop self and peers
At least 2 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree with focus on Accounting, Commerce or Corporate Finance
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables, manage expectations and complete deliverables in a timely manner with exceptional attention to detail.
Results-oriented with capacity and desire to work at strategic level.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
Technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
