CDRR enables the Firm to manage risks through implementing proactive, comprehensive and consistent risk management practices which protect the franchise while capturing business opportunities. The CDRR team partners with the business by ensuring that Technology understands how to manage, escalate and monitor risk.


Position Overview
The Access Management (AM) Team within CDRR is responsible for engineering and developing access management solutions for the firm. The AM organization reports into CDRR within the Tech and Data Division.
The AM platform is built on a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and comprises several proprietary software products that manage and enforce entitlements across the firm. Services are exposed using open standards including RESTful JSON and SOAP. The server-side components leverage Java, MS SQL, and DB2, while client-facing APIs are built in Java. The UI layer utilizes AngularJS.
We are deploying the first version of the Strategic Integrated Entitlements platform to meet evolving regulatory requirements and enhance developer productivity.

Role Summary
We are seeking a hands-on VP, Lead Developer to lead the development and deployment of the Entitlements Provisioning and Reporting (EPR) platform. This platform will be rolled out to a large population of Wealth Management (WM) applications across the firm.
The successful candidate will supervise a team of developers located in India, the US, and Canada, and will be responsible for driving technical excellence, delivery timelines, and cross-regional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
> Lead the design, development, and deployment of the EPR platform.
> Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment on architecture and delivery.
> Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers across regions.
> Ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering, security, and compliance.
> Drive continuous improvement in development processes and tooling.
> Communicate effectively with stakeholders across business and technology.
> Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
> Proven experience designing and implementing multi-tier internet applications using Java and J2EE technologies.
> Expertise in J2EE frameworks including Spring Core, Spring AOP, Spring JDBC, and JSP - ideally with Spring Framework 6.x.
> Strong proficiency in writing SQL queries and stored procedures for MSSQL, and or DB2 databases.
> 10+ years of experience developing Web Services using SOAP and REST.
> 3-5 years of prior experience with Angular and modern UI development practices.
> Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
> Experience building CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with DevOps practices.
> Experience with Java 17 or later.
> Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
> Experience working with SailPoint is a strong plus.
> Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
> Prior experience in leading distributed development teams is highly desirable
> Prior experience in development of AI models is a plus
