Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks a Vice President, Server Engineering in Alpharetta, GA

Responsible for a variety of areas from data platforms to cloud (public and private) to web and middleware. Identify and work on software automations and process improvements. Act as the first responder for infrastructure outages. Support large software technology projects, hygiene activities, upgrades, rollouts at scale, onboarding of new technologies, and automation support. Automate tasks with different tools, scripts, and solutions. Prepare metric reports and other diagnostics and present findings to senior management. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Salary:

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $204,000 and $204,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a System Administrator, Engineer, or a closely related occupation in the technology field. Requires five (5) years of experience with: Kafka; Apigee; Tomcat; IIS; BPM; Azure; programming and scripting in Perl, PowerShell, Shell, and Python; TCP/IP protocols; HTTP/HTTPS; DNS; WebSphere; IBM Host on Demand; Immuta; Ansible; SireMinder; Jira; Splunk; firewalls, and load balancers; and SSL certificates, procurements, setup, and administration.

Requires one (1) year of experience with subnets.
