We're seeking someone to join our Centralized Management team as a Director in Finance Change to work on both Finance Data Governance initiatives and project implementations that serves Global Corporate Controllers Organization (GCC), which is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of financial and regulatory programs
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is a Director level position within the Portfolio and Change Management job family.

What you’ll do in the role
- Systems Data Governance & Lineage - implementing and executing systems governance standards including executing lineage, managing system feed governance and system dictionaries
- Partner with Finance and IT colleagues to prioritize governance deliverables
- Manage feed governance process ensuring all feeds are documented and approved
- Manage Feed Inventory in firmwide tools. Ensure approved documentation is cataloged appropriately and front to back lineage can be visualized
- Partner with controller teams and IT to document controls and, where needed, work with IT to implement controls
- Build effective presentations for senior management forums in relation to governance and change initiatives
- Project Implementation: The candidate would act as the point person between Finance and Technology teams during all phases of the program management life cycle
- Documentation of the current state processes, business requirements including the target state processes
- Performing detailed data analysis
- Planning and executing the testing phase with all stakeholders (testing approach, test plan, cases, testing metrics)
- Facilitating the transition to Business As Usual (BAU) processes to Finance Controllers
- Meeting preparation with the stakeholders raising appropriate status, risks, and issues What we're looking for:
- Strong organization skills, with a proven track record for delivering to deadlines with a continuous focus on attention to detail.
- Understanding good data quality and ability escalate when issues arise
- Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently and efficiently to achieve goals either as an individual or as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to interact with various levels throughout the organization and tailor messaging according to the audience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Relevant experiences as Business Analyst working on projects for the Finance department of an investment bank / financial services company.
- Finance/Accounting/Regulatory Experience - A good understanding of the finance functions and processes of a financial service organization, examples: General Ledger accounting/finance processes, US GAAP/IFRS accounting principles, and regulatory reporting. Federal Reserve reporting experience is a plus.
- Reporting experience or experience with reporting tools (TM1, Essbase, PowerBI, Cognos) would be beneficial
- Experience within the Financial Services Industry and / or financial product knowledge
- Previous agile transformation experience a plus
- Experience with metadata management tooling would be beneficial but is not necessary (e.g.: Collibra, MetaCenter, Solidatus).
