Program Description

We’re seeking apprentice to join our Parametric Division for the Apprenticeship Program. This is a 1 year apprenticeship program designed as an opportunity to learn more about the important role Parametric plays within the Firm. This structured program is designed to give candidates insight into this division and an opportunity to develop and master the analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills needed to develop an exciting and rewarding career. The training will continue throughout the course of the program with structured learning sessions run by senior executives.


In the Parametric operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships.

Parametric is part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the asset management division of Morgan Stanley. We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what's important to them and their clients. A leader in custom solutions for more than 30 years, we help investors access efficient market exposures, solve implementation challenges, and design multi-asset portfolios that respond to their evolving needs. What you’ll do in the role:

Apprentices are part of 1 year program, which includes an extensive development plan to expand their experience and exposure. Candidates are placed based on hiring needs and are matched in a specific role depending on their skills. Apprentices will have support and supervision from experienced Operations professionals throughout their assignments.
Apprentices will join Morgan Stanley in July/August 2026. The Program begins with an induction to the Firm and Business Division, followed by on-the-job training with a buddy assigned to each. Training includes business-specific content, product and market overviews, current events, professional skills training, community service and cross divisional networking events.

  • Trade capture, enrichment, and confirmation.
  • Learn key processes in the life cycle of a trade from deal capture to the final settlement.
  • Institutional & Retail reconciliation, record keeping identify and resolve trading breaks from discrepancies dealing with security information, trading date and settlement date, executed quantity, taxes, commission, prices, and settlement locations.
  • Cash, Position and Transaction breaks management.
  • Collateral management processes to support margin requirements.
  • Provide Fund accounting services to the clients
  • Processing of mandatory and voluntary corporate actions
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of Data Operations and Data Services processes and activities.
  • Bring your AI, analytics, and automation skills to drive meaningful process enhancements, innovation initiatives, and projects across Operations while building a strong, future-ready career.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients, perform new account recon, billing.
  • Develop relationships with clients (i.e., counterparties, traders, legal, credit, technology, controllers, other functional teams) to understand the priorities of stakeholders and ensure that business needs are met, protect client confidentiality and address ad-hoc requests in a timely fashion.
  • Research, reporting, and process document preparation.
  • Compilation of daily/weekly/monthly metric dashboards to ensure thorough business analysis.
  • Collaborate with colleagues at all levels to complete daily tasks, create best practice methodologies and approaches for business analysis, issue follow up and escalation.
  • Learn and create Standard Operating Procedures as per on-the-job training
  • Support and develop risk policies and control framework with a view to minimizing operational risk.


What you’ll bring to the role:


1.University student, who graduated in 2026.
2.Willing to work in flexible shifts starting and ending between 07:00 PM and 04:00 AM.
3.Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and should have zeal to learn new concepts
4.Pay close attention to detail and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5.Proficiency in MS office.
6.Strong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple activities.
7.Exhibit a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership.
