We are seeking a Director to join to assist the LIFC team in the Finance Division

The LIFC Projects Team is a strategic function within Liquidity, Investments and Funding Controllers (LIFC), responsible for driving technology transformation, automation initiatives, and project governance across the controller organization.


In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis, and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources.


This is director level role in Product Controllers job family. The team partners closely with Controllers, Business Stakeholders, and Technology teams to design and execute scalable solutions across key finance domains including Accounting, Hedge Accounting, Currency Management, FTP, Allocations, and Reporting. Key responsibilities include end-to-end project lifecycle ownership, acting as the interface between business and technology, driving Agile delivery, monitoring KPIs and project progress, and ensuring high-quality delivery.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm

  • Responsible for and lead a significant set of deliverables, leveraging advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment

  • Proactively identify emerging risks in individual and department work and contribute to strategies for mitigating them

  • Act as a role model and culture carrier; Embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards

  • Coordinate delivery across projects

  • Support prioritization and planning

  • Mentor Junior team members

  • Ensure strong governance and execution

What you'll bring to the role:

  • In-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment

  • Ability to operate independently with respect to most job responsibilities

  • Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and innovate processes

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Demonstrable leadership qualities with a strong work ethic and team player mentality

  • Ability to plan and execute against tight timeframes

  • Strong organizational skill and strategic thinking

  • Analytical mind-set and good problem-solving skills with a willingness to drill through to the root cause of issues

  • Strong controls background with an ability to design, implement, enhance, and monitor the effectiveness of existing or new controls

  • B.Tech/MBA/CA or equivalent

  • 5–8 years experience in Business Analysis/Product roles in Finance, Product Control, Accounting or Investment banking

  • Strong analytical and documentation skill

  • Preferable: Experience with Power CI, Alteryx or similar tools. Exposure to AI / Agentic AI

  • Knowledge on Treasury or Product Control domains

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum

  • Familiarity with JIRA/Rally

  • Understanding of BDD/TDD and testing approaches

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
