Program Description

Finance Intern (Mexico) - Job Description Summary:

Assist in any necessary tasks needed to perform the activities outlined in the roles for legal entity Finance & Regulatory Reporting department. Focusing on regulatory reporting for Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores, Banco de México and AMIB from the validation of the data feeding the reports (product reconciliations) to the preparation of layouts/reports to be submitted to the regulator.

Main Responsibilities:

Assit in:
• Running daily FX Position for ALCME reporting.
• Running Capital Index calculation, monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
• Daily accounting and reconciliation processes of trading products within the local General Ledger, including transactional and operative systems.
• Running, analyzing and reporting monthly Convalidaciones de Derivados to Banxico.
• Recurrent reports of Capital Index calculation based on new business, products, market sensitivity and potential business model changes.
• Annual Stress Scenarios Project.
• Finance KPIs.
• Updating financial information.
• The preparation of Mexico finance reports, risk committee, LEC and Capital monthly meeting materials.

Summarize and present:
• Assist with presentations, projects, and reports using power point, word, and excel.
• Summarize data, include key points, and present ideas.

Qualifications, Experience, Other Skills:

  • Academic background in Math, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Actuarial Science or Economics is highly preferred
  • VBA (Visual Basic) and programming knowledge. Alteryx is a plus!
  • Proactive, with strong collaboration, problem solving and oral/written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking) is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
