We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to join our Customer IAM Operations group.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting highly scalable and comprehensive Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience working with IAM systems, a strong technical background in operations and reliability engineering, and a passion for driving Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve platform stability, security, availability, and performance.

This is a Cybersecurity Eng II position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for providing specialist cyber expertise and creating solutions that protect the organization's systems and networks against actual and potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

What you'll do in the role:
IAM Operations & Engineering
> Build, maintain, and optimize global IAM services, assessing system performance and contributing to technical solutions.
> Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions across the organization.
> Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and industry best practices.
> Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues escalated by customers, support teams, and engineers.
> Support the alignment of IAM infrastructure with current and future business requirements.
> Participate in platform upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
> Hands-on experience administering, upgrading, and troubleshooting Transmit Security or related Authentication products.

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)x
> Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve operational excellence.
> Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve system architecture, resiliency, and scalability.
> Implement automation solutions to reduce operational overhead and improve reliability.
> Drive initiatives to enhance system security, reliability, availability, and performance.
> Support business continuity and disaster recovery efforts for IAM platforms.
> Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.
> Contribute to post-incident reviews and continuous service improvement efforts.

What you'll bring to the role:

Technical Skills
> Strong understanding of:
o IAM platforms and products, such as Transmit Security or ForgeRock and Ping Identity.
o Authentication, authorization, federation, and access management concepts.
o Enterprise security standards, protocols, and best practices.
> Intermediate knowledge of operating system administration on Windows and Linux (Red Hat) platforms.
> Intermediate proficiency in at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Python, Shell, or Perl.
> Experience troubleshooting distributed applications and complex production environments.
> Familiarity with monitoring and operational tools such as Splunk, Grafana, ServiceNow, Jira, and Jenkins.
> Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments.
> Experience supporting IAM platform lifecycle management, including upgrades, patching, certificate management, and configuration changes.

Soft Skills
> Strong interest in Access Management, Identity Governance, Directory Services, and Information Security.
> Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
> Ability to document technical processes and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
> Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
> Comfortable working in an operational support environment with customer interaction.
> Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
> Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
> Advocate for reliability engineering and continuous improvement practices.
Experience
> Previous experience in IAM Operations, Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related technical role.
> Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
> ITIL, CISSP, Security+, or similar certifications are a plus.
> Experience with cloud platforms and automation technologies is desirable. Preferred Qualifications
> Experience with IAM technologies such as Transmit Security, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Okta, or Azure AD.
> Knowledge of SSO, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and MFA technologies.
> Experience creating automation scripts and operational tooling.
> Familiarity with DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
