Duration: 10 Week Program - June 1, 2027, to August 10, 2027
Salary: $33.50 per hour (set amount for internship )
Location: New York (100 Park)
No relocation assistance or housing services provided. Must be able to secure your own accommodations or live in commuting distance of office.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This is an internship position supporting Parametric’s investment and marketing teams in developing thought leadership and collateral that connect investment expertise with client needs. Working cross-functionally with investment, product management, and marketing partners across Parametric and Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the intern will gain exposure to how an asset manager translates complex concepts into compelling market narratives. The intern will contribute to content development, competitive analysis, and strategic initiatives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help translate complex investment concepts into clear, compelling narratives, positioning, and messaging.
- Conduct market, industry, and competitive research to support the positioning and commercialization of Parametric’s investment capabilities.
- Assist with the development of presentations, investment insights, capabilities materials, and other content.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects with investment, product management, and marketing partners.
- Additional responsibilities will be assigned based upon intern skill set and evolving business needs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Junior or rising senior progressing toward a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interest in investment management, financial markets, and the financial services industry.
- Strong research, analytical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to understand complex concepts and communicate them clearly and concisely.
- Intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- Self-starter with the ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple priorities.
Throughout the 10-week program, interns participate in learning sessions, networking opportunities, and professional development events while building connections with peers and colleagues across Parametric and Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
A key component of the internship is a capstone project, where interns work individually or in teams to apply what they've learned and present their work to business leaders at the end of the summer.
