Position Overview
We believe this is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and results-driven junior relationship manager to join Neuberger Berman. Building the Israeli team and becoming a major factor alongside the Head of Israel coverage, will excite the right person to join us on this journey.
We're looking for a talented person who can bring with them strong relationships from key strategic prospects from within Israel, as well as groups of investment managers and other large wealth management businesses and advisors. If you work for an Israeli domestic house that has been in the market for a few years, and has first-hand experience explaining and selling products to intermediaries, Family Offices, and qualified investors, then we would love to speak to you.
This is a client-facing role in which the primary purpose is to expand the number of prospective clients of the firm to drive flows into our range of investment strategies. In addition to driving new business, the position requires skilful ongoing client management and retention of existing relationships.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify, cultivate prospects and current client relationships, managing a sales pipeline from opportunity through to completion.
- Make outbound business development calls, organize/hold successful client meetings to generate new business and strategic relationships with investors.
- Build on Neuberger Berman’s brand presence in the region, be an ambassador to the market, and elevate the awareness for comingled funds and customized mandates.
- Closely work with Neuberger Berman’s Marketing, RFP’s and Client Service teams and diligently respond to client needs and requests.
- Smartly and diligently use our internal CRM system to track progress and map opportunities.
- Maintain awareness of our competitive industry, clients, and regulatory trends to craft and offer suitable investment solutions.

Key Requirements/Qualifications:
- Rich understanding of the Israeli intermediary/advisory, family offices landscape and how its changing and backed with evidence of being able to adapt to changing buying patterns and trends.
- Demonstrable Investment Management industry or Financial Services experience, preferably in Sales, Sales Support, Marketing or Client Services
- 2-4 years’ industry experience
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills
- Strong numeracy, and familiarity with financial concepts
- Languages: Mother tongue Hebrew. Fluent in English
- University degree
