Uphold existing standards while proactively creating new ones when presented with novel processes, models, or requirements—especially in the context of fund onboarding and technology-driven changes across institutional asset classes.
Lead comprehensive requirements analysis and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions with high reusability and maintainability. Focus on developing flexible data models and seamless integration points that support both website and data warehouse enhancements.
Coordinate code delivery directly with developers, utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies to address evolving project needs and business priorities. Leverage tools such as Confluence and Azure DevOps for effective project tracking and documentation.
Consistently identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction, strengthen client relationships, and drive business and operational efficiency through innovative technology solutions tailored to institutional clients.
Proactively manage user communications and expectations throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring transparency and timely updates.
Facilitate key process activities, including daily stand-ups, and lead or coach cross-departmental teams in Agile practices to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
Ensure thorough close-out and transition of all projects to business-as-usual (BAU) operations, including the facilitation of retrospectives and documentation of lessons learned.
Qualifications:
BS or BA Degree, plus at least 5 years’ business analyst experience within the asset management industry, preferably supporting the investment process.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with diverse teams.
Solid understanding of traditional asset classes and the nuances of institutional, High-Net-Worth, Wealth Management, or Retail industries.
Experience writing ad-hoc SQL queries and strong understanding of database/RDBMS architecture.
Foundational experience in full cycle software delivery as a business analyst, developer, or QA.
Proven experience with Agile project management framework (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, Crystal), with the ability to weigh tradeoffs.
Strong knowledge of integration testing and coordinating user acceptance testing.
Ability to liaise effectively with Front Office, IT, Operations, and Compliance teams.
Experience using Confluence and Azure DevOps for project management and documentation.
Professional pride, individual accountability, and a client-centric mindset.
