Client Service Associate

The Client Service Associate will partner with the Client Service Advisor - Canada (“CSA”) and other team members to support Neuberger Berman’s Canadian Institutional/Intermediary businesses and will report to the Head of North America Client Service. The primary goal will be to assist the Canadian team in achieving their day-to-day goals of servicing institutional and intermediary clients, as well as managing internal administrative tasks and projects. This position will provide the individual with valuable insights into the Neuberger Berman Institutional/Intermediary businesses. This role needs to work both autonomously and within a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and team-oriented outlook.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Client Service Advisor - Canada in all aspects of their activities to ensure goals are met
Tasks will include reviewing and sending out recurring client reporting deliverables, meeting preparation, entering client directed cash flows, CRM maintenance and coordination of client requests
Conduct thorough meeting preparation, coordinate prep calls with necessary Portfolio Management teams and other key internal teams. Coordinate all follow-ups necessary from meetings
Liaise with other internal teams (billing, performance, analytics, operations, legal & compliance) to ensure client needs are met
Oversee Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ) submissions; liaise with the RFP & other teams, ensure DDQ deadlines and requirements are met, review DDQs for accuracy of content
Support in the coordination of ad hoc client inquiries, regular portfolio reviews, due diligence meetings and production of materials ensuring deadlines are met
Coordinate significant aspects of each relationship to ensure all service needs are addressed in a timely manner
Participate in team projects to enhance internal procedures in accordance with industry best practices
Assist with the onboarding process for new clients
Qualifications/Requirements:
3 to 5 years’ experience related investment management industry experience required
Bachelor’s degree in business or finance; CFA and/or CAIA a plus.
Working knowledge with equity, fixed income and alternative strategies products and instruments
Excellent presentation, business writing and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow through
Highly collaborative and proactive, ability to juggle responsibilities and prioritize in an environment working with multiple teams and personalities
Team player, high energy, self-starter
Strong analytical and problem solving, coordination skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM software, especially Salesforce

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $95,000-$125,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
