Role : Senior Associate, Infra Storage Management
Location : Pune, Maharashtra
Role Summary
We seek a skilled Storage Engineer with expertise in Enterprise Storage(SAN/NAS), Brocade SAN and automation. This role involves managing storage infrastructure, developing engineering solutions, and overseeing policies, procedures, and disaster recovery tests. Candidates should have experience in large-scale enterprise environments and be prepared for technical challenges, high visibility, and influencing platform direction. The role offers opportunities to work with advanced storage technologies and contribute strategically to infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities and Required Skills
Enterprise Storage Management
• Experience with Storage Infrastructure Management, Provisioning, Optimization and Monitoring.
• Lead projects which are large in scope, typically cross-functional and technically difficult, often involving combinations of platforms and computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server, Web, e-commerce) and technologies.
• Design, Architect and maintain SAN/NAS environments (Hitachi Vantara , Pure Storage, NetApp Storage, ECS).
• Design, Architect and maintain SAN Fabric environments (Brocade).
• Execute storage migrations, decommissioning, and capacity optimization projects.
• Collaborate with automation teams to design and implement operational efficiencies.
• Experience with backup/recovery design, DR implementation, monitoring implementation, performance tuning and optimization.
• Drive monitoring refinement and proactive alerting strategies.
• Provide Level 3 (L3) support for complex incidents and partner with Operations for resolution.
• Good knowledge about the Cloud computing (AWX, Azure) , Operating system (Unix, Windows, VMware) and shell scripting.
• Good understanding of fundamental technologies like TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, DNS, Load balancer, NFS.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Strong planning and organizing skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously.
• Ability to cope in a technically complex and fast-changing environment, and to respond calmly and rationally to changing priorities in a deadline-driven situation.
Additional Skills a Plus
• Experience with Cloud Computing (Azure, AWX).
• Experience with Automation and Ansible Scripting.
• Understanding and execution of the IT processes of Incident Management, Problem.
• Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management (Service Now).
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or any related discipline is desired, along with 7 Years of experience in a storage environment.
• At least 4 years in designing and implementing enterprise class storage solutions for a large company.
• Experience with disaster recovery technologies and data replication.
• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated sectors.
• Exposure to multi cloud strategy.
• Certifications (preferred but not mandatory)
Work Conditions & Availability
• Business-hours role with rotating on-call, US Shifts and scheduled change windows (nights/weekends).
• Participation in BCP/DR exercises, audit cycles, and cross-region platform support is expected.
