Summary
The Sr. Consultant, Lead will play a pivotal role in driving reporting and analytics excellence across the organization. This position is responsible for leading the deployment, support, and continuous improvement of reporting solutions managed by the Business Solutions team (Part of the Transformation Execution Office). The role combines technical expertise, leadership, and strategic vision to deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed business requirements.
You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage resources, and ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards. This role also involves stakeholder engagement, process optimization, and team development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership:
- Lead planning, documentation, testing, training, and implementation of reporting solutions.
- Provide detailed direction and perform specialized analysis for system modifications and enhancements.
- Ensure all team members understand roles and responsibilities for assigned projects.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Interact with business stakeholders to analyze and interpret requirements; recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular updates, meetings, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Process Improvement & Governance:
- Review existing systems and processes; identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
- Develop and maintain knowledge-sharing materials and conduct training sessions for stakeholders.
- Metrics & Reporting:
- Prepare and present project metrics, accomplishments, and critical updates to leadership.
- Track progress against plans and proactively address risks and issues.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Provide performance feedback, conduct appraisals, and support career development plans.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Productivity Productions
- Strong understanding of Financial products along with Reporting and Fee Billing Concepts.
- Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills; ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and reporting and fee billing tools.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage client expectations, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Technical understanding and hands-on experience on MS SQL Server and/or PL SQL /scripting is must.
Experience
- 10+ years in Financial Services/Banking Technology or related industry.
- Proven experience in project management and reporting/fee billing solutions
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver projects in a matrix environment.
- Strong people management skills, including coaching, conflict resolution, and team development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation tools, data visualization platforms, and advanced analytics.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Exposure to emerging technologies in reporting and analytics.
Eligibility for Internal Partner
•3 years as a Team Leader to move as a Section Manager currently at an Officer level.
•24 months as a Consultant to move as a Senior Consultant. Movement within Senior Consultant and Section Manager is applicable if they have prior 36 months of people management experience.
