Senior Analyst – Investment Support, WM Middle Office

Job Description Summary:

Senior Analyst – Investment Support plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence across Wealth Management Middle Office. This role combines subject matter expertise with leadership support, acting as the process anchor and escalation point in the absence of the Team Leader. The coordinator ensures seamless execution of investment-related workflows, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication.

Manage and execute core Investment Support activities including CMA onboarding and funding, Cash and asset transitions, Model changes, terminations, and restrictions, Tax harvesting and alternative asset support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Understands and executes complex investment related activity (Cash Request, Model Change, Tax Harvesting, Halt/Resume Trading, and implementation & rebalance events) initiated through Salesforce or PWS Case.
  • As an individual contributor, continue to build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal partners/stakeholders.
  • Maintain/update SharePoint trackers, audit/error logs; track procedural updates
  • Support onboarding/mentoring, guide analysts and act as a subject matter expert.
  • Review peer work and ensure adherence to SOPs and audit standards.
  • Update job aids, DPAD etc.
  • Be aware of all service level agreements and KPIs in place.
  • Contribute to monthly reporting and audit documentation.
  • Ensure issues are escalated to the appropriate personnel across the business in a timely manner
  • Continuously meet and exceed the expectations and requirements of all clients.
  • Work within a team with a strong willingness to assist others when required, building effective relationships with members of other teams
  • Manage and escalate operational risks arising from processes
  • Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact
  • Handle issue resolution and highlight/escalate concerns to supervisors/ subject-matter experts as needed.
  • Work within Risk framework, never assume or bypass existing procedures/controls.
  • Follow incident/regulatory breach (operational risk) reporting procedures rigorously.
  • Responsible for following established guidelines and identifying and resolving problems.
  • Expected to use some initiative but refer more complex problems to supervisors/ experts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of transfers within established guidelines; consistently meet day-to-day deliverables.
  • Understand trends across daily deliverables (SLA/KRA) and work with the supervisors to enhance processes and procedural knowledge
  • Work effectively as a team member while also contributing independently; progress toward proficiency in all areas of the job

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong attention to detail due to high financial and client impact
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for clear and concise reporting
  • In-depth functional and industry knowledge, especially in investment operations and compliance
  • High adaptability to change and evolving processes
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize a busy workload
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and at all levels internally
  • Numerically competent with strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work flexibly when dealing with varying client requirements
  • Proficiency in systems such as GAM, WCM, IIP, SF/PWS, BPM, Trade, OIT, MS Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint & Word), Partner Workstation

Experience:

  • Minimum of 24 months of experience as an Analyst
  • Prior exposure (24 months) in investment support, account onboarding is a plus (Internal and External)
  • Experience with Trading team is a plus
  • Eagerness and creative skill to identify and implement process efficiencies
  • A College/University degree or financial trust and custody services, security industry or other related client servicing experiencing, usually acquired through formal training or prior experience is required.

Working hours and location:

  • Working hours- 5:30 pm to 2:30 am IST (Flexible to work for North American shift)
  • Location- Bagmane, Bangalore.
