Job Title: Senior Analyst

Job Description Summary:

The role involves independently executing and reviewing core Account Review Execution Team (ARE) activities such as Agency and IRA Reviews while ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, audit standards, risk frameworks, SLAs, and KPIs. The individual reviews peer work, identifies audit gaps, resolves complex issues, escalates risks appropriately, and rigorously follows incident and regulatory breach reporting procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate SharePoint trackers, audit and error logs, documenting process changes, and handling complex transactions that require strong knowledge of rules, policies, and controls. The role also supports onboarding and mentoring of analysts, builds strong working relationships with internal partners, and develops deeper expertise in specific skill areas alongside daily operations. Success in this role requires strong analytical and communication skills, high attention to detail, adaptability to change, solid understanding of middle office products, financial markets, and operational processes, and proficiency with tools such as BPM, Trust Servicing systems, EDM, Power BI, MS Office, and related dashboards.

Job Description:

Major Duties-

  • Reviews the work done by peers and makes sure all tasks follow SOPs and audit standards.
  • Identifies issues and works with seniors to fix audit gaps and reduce errors.
  • Updates SharePoint trackers, audit logs, error logs, and keeps process changes recorded.
  • Resolves issues and escalates concerns to supervisors or subject‑matter experts when needed.
  • Handles complex transactions that require strong understanding of rules, policies, and processes.
  • Supports onboarding and mentoring; guides analysts.
  • Understands and follows all SLAs and KPIs.
  • Developing deeper expertise in a specific skill area while continuing daily core work.
  • Gain good understanding of tools such as BPM, Trust Servicing systems, EDM, Power BI, and MS Office
  • Builds and maintains good working relationships with key internal teams and partners.
  • Execute and ensure timely completion of core ARE activities such as Agency Reviews, IRA Reviews.
  • Work within Risk framework, never assume or bypass existing procedures/controls.
  • Follow incident/regulatory breach (operational risk) reporting procedures rigorously.
  • As an individual contributor, continue to build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal partners/stakeholders.

Required Knowledge & Skills-

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; pays attention to detail and works with urgency.
  • Strong analytical skills to research and resolve issues and drive them to completion.
  • Good knowledge of all Middle Office products, services, and processes.
  • Good understanding of financial markets, instruments, and operational functions.
  • Skilled in tools like BPM, Trust Servicing, EDM, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Power BI, and Partner Workstation dashboards.
  • Strong attention to detail required to review EDM documents and update BPM.
  • High adaptability to change and evolving processes

Experience & Qualifications-

  • A college/university degree or experience in financial trust and custody services, or related client servicing.
  • Requires 2+ years of relevant work experience, 24 months as an Analyst.
  • Flexible to work in shifts and extended hours.
  • Experience in Financial Industry Operations or Investment Operations is a plus.
  • Relevant ARE/Coding/Account Maintenance experience is preferred

Job Location: Bangalore

Shift time: 12:30pm to 9:30pm

Eligibility for Internal Partner

  • Should have completed 1 year as Analyst II
  • Lateral application - should have completed 1 year in the current role.
