About NTAM Invest Operations -

The NTAM Invest Ops department is a dynamic multi-faceted division that partners & actively collaborates with the front end and the back end groups within the Global Investment Operations space; supporting & servicing the Account management, RMs, IA’s, Portfolio management & trading desk teams across different geographies. Our focus is on controlled, centralized and uninterrupted support with a focus for operational excellence for functions that extend beyond those encompassed within the front and back offices.

The India NTAM Invest Operations group is comprised of 3 main business units Client Administration consists of Client Communication, Client Ops Data & Fees Analytics, Investment Administration consists of Front office support & Client Trade, Liquidity analytics & Portfolio Administration consists of Reconciliation, Income, Corporate Actions & Accounting. In addition, other allied groups that constitute are Client Reporting, Portfolio compliance, Data Management, Pricing & Valuations; Performance, GIPS ,Attribution - who partner with each other to deliver best in class operational delivery. The NTAM Invest Ops department serves as a Centre Of Excellence and are at the forefront of leading & implementing various projects across the larger NTAM department.

SUMMARY-

The individual is responsible to provide expert guidance and solutions in optimizing Client Fee billing processes. Assess the current workflows, recommend best practices, implement process improvements and support the integration of technology and tools. The individual should also have the ability to deliver tailored solutions to complex financial operations.

MAJOR DUTIES-

  • Oversee and assist as appropriate in the capture, validation and review of fee billing data for all clients contracted, ensuring correct interpretation of documented arrangements.

  • Review of client static billing information in line with documented fee agreements.

  • Demonstrate the ability/desire to share knowledge in the form of training, mentoring or coaching others.

  • Maintain effective relationships with our business partners to ensure process improvement goals are clearly communicated and delivered

  • Differentiate between important and urgent decisions, assess complex and contradictory information, identify the core issues quickly and act on them

  • Act as an SME for Client Administration group, hands on with Fee billing process gained through domain experience

  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing processes identifying inefficiencies, gaps and areas of improvements

  • Lead the implementation of any new systems, software and processes. Provide hands-on support during the transition to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption

  • Manage optimization projects from inception to completion including timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communication

  • Ensure all recommended process meet regulatory requirements and help mitigate operational and financial risk

  • Establish Key Performance Indicators(KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of new processes and tools regularly reviewing results and suggest further refinements

  • Work closely with internal and technology teams to ensure that improvements align with broader organizational goals

  • Perform detailed reviews of daily, weekly and monthly functions to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with internal control and industry standards.

  • Identify areas of inefficiency in the process and recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy, speed and control

  • Assist in identifying potential risks within the process and develop corrective measures to mitigate the risk

  • Collaborate with internal audit teams to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements and assist with audit as necessary

  • Ensure the procedure updates are recorded in the DPAD and reviewed periodically

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Analytical skills to resolve and research enquiries and issues

  • Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Hands on experience in Client Fee billing and related systems such as ORMB,FEI, FET , ROP and accounting or financial operations

  • Knowledge of financial products such as Capital Call, distribution, equities, bonds, derivatives etc

  • Ability to actively collaborate and work with extended team outside of the Business unit

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite of tools, PBI

  • High level of attention to detail with a focus on ensuring accuracy in financial records

  • Must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to establish credibility and foster excellent working relationships with internal and external partners

Internal Eligibility Criteria:

  • 24 months as Associate Consultant/Technical Coordinator to apply for Consultant.

  • 12 months as Consultant for lateral movement.

EXPERIENCE:

6-9years of relevant domain experience within Asset Mgmt Ops or BFSI industry

Demonstrate knowledge of the Financial Services industry with experience in Fee billing cycle, Trade management is a must.
