Senior Product Manager, Digital Client Experience
The Senior Product Manager, Digital Client Experience, is a senior individual contributor within Asset Servicing responsible for shaping digital product strategy and the client experience across platforms, products, channels, and client segments for institutional asset managers and asset owners.
This role works across product management, digital, user experience, technology, and business teams to align priorities and deliver a more integrated client experience for institutional clients.
Responsibilities
Define and communicate a clear digital client experience vision for institutional asset managers and asset owners.
Own digital product strategy across Asset Servicing platforms, products, channels, and client segments.
Partner across product management, digital, user experience, technology, and business teams to align priorities and roadmaps across the client journey.
Translate business goals, client needs, and constraints into decision frameworks and prioritized plans.
Identify client needs, cross platform opportunities, and points of differentiation across products, channels, and client segments.
Clarify problems before solutions are defined, ensuring stakeholders are aligned on priorities and tradeoffs.
Use data, research, client feedback, and market insight to inform priorities and enhance the client experience.
Create materials and communication approaches that support executive alignment and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
10+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, or digital experience, ideally within financial services, asset management, or asset servicing.
Experience shaping end to end digital client journeys and aligning business, technology, and user experience teams across complex organizations.
Experience with modern product management and development practices, including lean startup, design thinking, user research, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
Strong understanding of investment management applications, data architecture, and modern technology, including cloud based platforms, service oriented architecture, and scalable data solutions.
Knowledge of institutional client needs, asset servicing workflows, and market solutions, including investment analytics, performance measurement, alternative analytics, exposure analysis, and alternative asset servicing.
Experience managing third party vendor relationships related to data acquisition, managed services, or similar solutions.
Strong ability to use data, research, and stakeholder feedback to guide product decisions and influence senior stakeholders.

Salary Range:
$164,600 - 288,000 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
